This code of practice describes methods and equipment for locating the reinforcement and embedded objects and measuring
the concrete cover in reinforced and prestressed concrete elements. Methods with different physical measuring principles are
available for the testing tasks. The methods and application examples presented relate to testing reinforced and prestressed
concrete. They can be transferred to comparable tests on reinforced masonry or the localisation of metallic objects in other
structural elements.
